Maricella Lira has been a member of St. Ann since March 2007. She has been attending St Ann since 2008 off and on since moving to Crowley.

Maricella has been married to her husband, David Lira Jr., for 18 years. She loves being part of the church not only as a staff member, but as a parishioner that gets to be involved in helping others and guiding and teaching the children stories of Jesus. She was baptized, received her First Holy Communion and Confirmation in Corpus Christi. She belongs to the Daughters of St. Ann and the Children's Choir and has been a Children's Catechist for the 2nd grade since Sept 2024.

Maricella has been a staff member since Oct 2024, as the Children Religious Education Coordinator.

Maricella loves working at St. Ann because she gets to use her gifts and talents in service to her church and working with children.

As scripture verse she finds strength and encouragement in is: Whoever serves me must follow me, and where I am there also will be my servant. John 12:26
