The Daughters of St Ann will meet Tuesday, September 8th, beginning at 6pm with the rosary (optional) followed by a meal at 6:30pm and the business meeting at 7pm. This month we are asking the Daughters to support our Fall Festival by bringing bottled water, and canned soda, any variety, it does not have to be name brand.
Adult Bible study Thursday morning sessions start this Thursday, September 10 at 9 AM in the formation building.
There will be a Blood Drive on September 13th from 9:00AM – 1:00PM in the Church parking lot. Please scan the QR code on the announcement in the bulletin or go to the website CarterBloodCare.org to sign up and fill out the questionnaire.
Get ready for online bidding for the Fall Festival Silent Auction! See the bulletin for the QR Code to register. There will also be representatives available in the back of church and in the overflow to assist with registration. Preview of items is available now and bidding starts on September 26th.
Fall Festival T-shirts pre-sale will be after all Masses this weekend and next weekend only. The cost is $20/shirt, with an additional fee for sizes 2X and up.
The St. Ann Altar Society will have a meeting on Monday, September 14 at 10:00 a.m. in the Parish Hall to present design plans for the liturgical events of Fall Give Thanks through Palm Sunday. Please use door 5.
The theme for this year’s Adult Faith Formation Sessions is “Heaven Touches Earth”. The first session for this year will be on Wednesday, September 16 in the Parish Hall. The topic for this session is Why Do We Go to Mass which will cover “why Sunday Mass is important, and the biblical roots of worship.” Meet, Greet and Eat will begin at 6:45pm and the session will be from 7:00 – 8:00 pm. Please bring a snack for the snack board.
Have you heard there is a Heavenly Rides Car show on September 19 here at St Ann’s? Save the date and come see some of the hottest cars and trucks in Burleson!! Proceeds will go to Crowley House of Hope and St Ann Youth Programs. There are still sponsorships available if interested contact Mike Hall, Roy Fehse or Kevin Schwan for details. La Sociedad del Altar de Santa Ana (St. Ann Altar Society) se reunirá el lunes 14 de septiembre a las 10:00 a. m. en el salón parroquial para presentar los diseños y planes para los eventos litúrgicos, desde la celebración de acción de gracias de otoño (Fall GiveThanks) hasta el Domingo de Ramos. El tema de las sesiones de formación en la fe para adultos de este año es "El cielo toca la tierra" (Heaven Touches Earth). La primera sesión tendrá lugar el miércoles 16 de septiembre en el salón parroquial. El tema de esta sesión será "¿Por qué vamos a misa?", donde se abordará "la importancia de la misa dominical y las raíces bíblicas de la adoración". La actividad de convivencia y refrigerio comenzará a las 6:45 p. m., y la sesión se llevará a cabo de 7:00 a 8:00 p. m. Por favor, traiga un aperitivo para compartir.
