OCIA-AC Adapted for Children:

• A faith formation journey for children ages 7–17 who have not been baptized or have not received First Communion.

• Designed for children who are beyond typical sacramental preparation age.

• Helps children come to know Jesus Christ, the Catholic faith, and the life of the Church.

• Prepares children to receive the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism (if needed), First Communion, and Confirmation.

• Rooted in prayer, Scripture, community, and participation in the Mass.

• Involves parents/guardians as primary faith mentors.

• A welcoming process that respects each child’s pace and readiness.

• Guided by trained catechists in a supportive, age-appropriate environment.
